    Wild Turkey 81 neat
I usually like a little ice but it kinda kills this bourbon.
It has a decent spicy note when taken neat.
    Cheers guys!

    Elijah Craig 18.

Kind of sad that this is my last bottle of this for a while since EJ suspended bottling last year to produce a 20yo at more than 4x the cost ($140). People speculate 18 will be back eventually but probably at a higher price.

Picked up some Old Grand Dad 114 today. For the price, I think it's something I'll keep on hand.

No new whisky here, same old Laphroaig 10, 15 and QC but now time to test them in Glencairn glasses!

I'm going down to Boston over the Easter weekend and am looking for suggestions for shops with good selections of whisky.

I'll be driving from here in Ottawa, so depending on which way I go, I may be coming through Vermont/NH, or NY. Haven't decided on my route yet, but I figure I might as well factor in whisky and antique stores when deciding.

My whisky of a couple of nights ago was Tallisker 18yo. Lovely stuff.

It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

On vacation in Paris/London had a few drinks of the balvenie port wood. Dangerously tempted to buy a bottle.

Had some Aberfeldy 12 highland single malt last night. Nothing too awful special, but not bad at all. It tasted quite a lot better with a small splash of water to open the flavor up. A nice warm honey and spiciness that I found that I liked better and better the more I drank of it. Not bad at all, just not spectacular.
