    We can compare notes gents!
As I've said, I seldom indulge in the harder spirits but I have taken a few sips of this Knob Creek 120 Single Barrel and I do find it quite mild tasting (for whiskey).

It's much smoother to the tongue and throat than anything else that I've experienced but as I've said, my tasting has been restricted to the much lower priced whiskeys.

For someone wanting to enter what I would call 'Sipping Whiskey' I'd highly recommend this Knob Hill.

I'm sure that the whiskeys that I grew up on (McNaughton's, Segrams7, Black Velvet and Wild Turkey would do for mixed drinks and are much less expensive.

Now on a Canadian Note: My grandfather Davis's sister was married to a native Canadian. My dad used to talk how his uncle would drive to Canada to visit and when he returned home he'd bring cases upon cases of Canadian Whiskey's back. BUT before he'd get to the border he'd open Every Bottle. Dad said it was something to do with customs and that the open bottles couldn't be resold.

I'm quite sure that those days are long gone!

Sampled some of Scott,s home distilled spirit. It was very similar to makers mark 46. A good sipping whiskey

Tried the Knob Creek. Not bad, but for really high test Bourbon, I think I prefer the Wild Turkey Rare Breed.
