Thanked: 3215I have been using the Bodum double walled cups, but they are thin and do break easily. Down to my last cup of the set.
Yesterday, I was in Sur Le Table, (where I bought them originally) and they are now carrying the Heckles double walled cup. They said they switched to the Zwillig/Heckles cup, that they were stronger and less prone to breakage, than the Bodum. The still carry both lines in other products, just not the cups. So, there may be some truth in what she said.
The Zwillig cups are larger 12 oz., and clunky looking with very thin uncomfortable handles. The Bodum had nice thicker handles and a 10-oz. cup, which is a good size.
Double walled cups do keep a cup hotter, longer, especially when pr- heated with a splash of hot water. They both are a bit pricy at 12-15 dollars, but worth it. Mine have lasted almost 2 years and we hand wash our cups, broken 3.
I did find the 10 oz. Bodum at Crate and Barrel if you want to hold one before purchasing.
Has anyone used the Zwillig/Henkel’s cup, and do they hold up well?

I need to post a pic of my Christmas coffee presents - the electric version of the gooseneck kettle and a Chemex 6 cup pour over.
It fits in to my 2016 pledge: "less coffee, better coffee"
I keep thinking "why didn't I do this sooner?"
But I could add a long list to that (shave with a Straight, take up the Bass Guitar, go to Italy, Australia, Hong Kong etc etc.)
IMHO it is worth the effort...Support Movember!

You guys are really lucky!
I awoke to the joy of both grinders being tango uniform. Got one fixed...burrs... and the other can await the wrenches.
Then... this cell phone was lost in its boot routines. It is very fortunate that I have mellowed over the years! Gently trying button combinations fixed that...
Have a great day!

OK, here's crazy...other day was at the Grocery Store...saw a jar of Maxwell House Instant Coffee...been years since I made a cup of instant coffee, used to be a staple for me when I was in Uni...figured what the heck and bought a jar...when you just want a quick cup, boil the kettle, was really good, not my favorite by any means, but certainly hit's the spot when you just want a quick cup of Joe....

Wow. And I just threw away a bag of a Dark Matter because I thought it was too acidic today.
