Anybody ever try this french press Thermos Nissan 34-Ounce Vacuum Insulated Stainless-Steel Gourmet Coffee Press: Amazon.com: Kitchen & Dining. Looks like it could be good and I like the the idea of the thermos and no glass.

Thought I would give this thread a bump with a question for you coffee guys. I was looking around the net for info about a local coffee roaster so I kept getting bounced to different coffee forums and on these forums I kept seeing people saying I am 14 or 16 or other young ages which I found to be a little young for regular coffee drinkers. In my family coffee was always a adult drink. I probaly tried it for the first time around 13 or 14 but I didn't really start drinking coffee on a regular basis till I was in college.
So my question to everyone when did you start drinking coffee on a regular basis?

I started coffee when i was about 9 and it was the poor boy's Ritalin! Now I have sold my professional machines and make do with a Cremina and a Baratza Vario. I still have a few other methods to make the Brown Gold! The smoke detector is my way of knowing the onset of 2nd crack when I roast, like today!!

I once drank four to five cups of coffee a day along with a couple of Mt. Dews. I never wondered why I didn't sleep at night due to my high pressure job which in itself deprived me of sleep. When the Doctor told me I was going to die if I didn't get my blood pressure down (150 over 95) I listened. I haven't had coffee now for 15 years. But I still love my Mt. Dew. Alas that also has to go. As an old fart, I do not sleep well. When I have a Mt. Dew, I get "wired" and stay up to all hours of the morning then crash for a couple of hours until the second "rush" comes charging through my veins.
It is hell getting old!!! Enjoy every cup, every whiff of aroma, every Zen moment of your coffee experience. Today is to savor, tomorrow you will not have that luxury.
