I use the ABCerum oil free stuff my wife makes for me, its got alpha and beta hydroxy, vitamin C, and a bunch of other stuff I am assured are good for my skin. I don't know how it works exactly but I know it feels awesome makes the skin feel nice and tight and keeps the ingrowns away.

All good advice-But as I've got all the ingredients, and a closet full of EO's to boot, I might try to make WhizBang's recipe before this winter sets in.

I’ve been using George F, Trumper Coral Skin Food since about 1995. It is awesome, dries quickly and feels great. I put it on right after Thayer Lavender Witch Hazel.

I've been really digging the Esbjerg Ol https://www.esbjerg.com/product/aftershave-oil-2/ after shave lately. I got a free sample with my last order and the tiny bit has gone for over a week now. It doesn't leave me greasy and my wife says my skin is softer. I also had been using jack black cooling gel https://www.esbjerg.com/product/post-shave-cooling-gel/ which was nice.

    I make my own with
    1 part Cornhusker's Lotion
    1 part aloe
2 parts alcohol free witch hazel

The witch hazel amount can be altered for preferred viscosity.

They do a green tub called Panama Daytona which has an amazing fragrance too.
I had to buy the colognes after buying the balms.
The balms don't fully absorb so just a tiny amount is required.
Real quality stuff, hence the prices.
