Thanked: 2Seems a bit on the pricey side and is not that much differnet in composition from olive oil.

Thanked: 3226I know it is a dead thread but have to say that I bought a cheap bottle of "Argan oil of Morocco" at Wally World just to try out. It is not pure Argan but works very well post shave to soften and soothe skin. After a dry down it does not leave your skin looking or feeling oily either.

Thanked: 3226Yes, tried coconut oil, a solid like lard, from the grocery store. Left my face feeling greasy so stopped using it as a post shave. I use Argan oil post shave and it seems to work better for me. I don't use a pre shave as nothing I tried did anything useful for me.
All you can do is try stuff like coconut oil and Noxzema as a pre shave and see if it does something useful for you.

Been trying several oils with a mixture of Glycerin in it.Glycerin softens your skin with any oils----I really like pravaso pre shave its great but not cheap.
I checked out the coconut oil and the pure oil raises to the top of container so no waxy substance that I can tell just pour until the oil is gone. Probably FACE WILL LOOK LIKE A PUNEThat's alright at my age have nothing to lose and everything to gain.
