All you can do is try stuff like coconut oil and Noxzema as a pre shave and see if it does something useful for you.

For skin and hair care, fractionated coconut oil is frequently used. It has a much lighter consistency and from what I read, the processed oil has better antibacterial and antioxidant properties.

When you get argan oil (and olive oil) make sure it is 100% of the real stuff. And this is not always what you get although you can read "argan oil" in the bottle.
    This is the truth.

I have been loving Argan oil as after shave on my face for a few years now, and I have learned this from first hand experience. You want to source a 100% pure product. I have purchased four products now. The first time I got some high quality pure stuff, and it worked great. The next time I thought I would try a cheaper product, and I had some side effects. The problem wasn't Argan oil, but the chemicals used as additives in the cheaper product. Ever since I made sure to get the pure argan oil. I mix two drops of argan oil, with a much larger droplet of high quality coconut oil to spread the more expensive argan oil out. It works better than anything else I've tested as after shave.

I'm certainly going to try this. Hey, if it works for someone who is older than me, it should work on my face, right?

Appreciate all the help that all of you provide!

I have been buying this "one'n only"brand, its Moroccan argon tree oil treatment got it at e.bay.When you take the cap of the bottle wow smells so good.Be sure you mix it with coconut oil or glycerin too strong by itself, goes a lone way. I did a search on this oils and then I made sure on their products. This is a good one. Thanks --james.

    Thanks James for the recommendation,
I looked it up, I hope you know this that it's not 100% pure and it contains additives. This is really just a silicone based (dimethicone) product.
