Thanked: 113I just looked it up, this is straight from the bottle:
Argan oil comes after fragrance on the ingredient list. How much fragrance does it take to scent a 3.4oz bottle? A drop or two? Since ingredients are listed in order of how much is in there, that means there's hardly any actual Argan oil in this product. I actually found a bottle of cold pressed 100% Argan oil in a local store. It's Acure brand for about $10/oz, pricey but would rather use actual oil on my face rather than silicon. I bet that the above product smells good considering the perfume. Argan seeds/fruits have a natural scent too but that depends on a season just like olives.
Cheers.Last edited by neehooya; 03-16-2016 at 02:34 PM.

Thanked: 10As someone who has had to deal with rosacea for a few years I have spent some time researching several face products. It's partly responsible for my move to DE and now SR's as inflammation from ingrown hair due to cartridge razors makes a complexion suffering from rosacea that much worse. I have been using argan oil with a few drops of lavender and sandalwood essential oils as a post shave for a couple months and it has done wonders. I rinse and dry my face after using the alum block, pour about 5 drops into my palms and rub it over my freshly shaved face.
If you are looking to purchase argan oil there are a few things to check to make sure you are getting the real deal. You want the ingredient list on the bottle to say argania spinosa, which is the Latin name for argan oil. There should be no other ingredients and cold pressed is the best. Real argan oil also has a fairly strong nutty scent when it is dispensed. Some people find it unpleasant but it fades very quickly. It is an expensive item but a little goes a very long way. I have had a 4 ounce bottle for a couple months and have used about 1\4 of it with at least one, usually 2 applications per day. Once after shaving and once right before bed.Last edited by Smattayu; 03-19-2016 at 05:31 AM. Reason: Specificity

Have you researched colloidal silver for your rosacea? Knew a girl some years ago that it really helped.........also I use agadir argan oil shampoo as a preshave in the shower. It is in the scalp section at Walmart NOT the shampoo section....its a little pricey but works really well and it is sulfate free
