    Default Keeping lather warm . . .

    Gentlemen:

These days I, too, use an electric coffee mug warmer to keep my lather mug warm. It works.

    Regards,
    Obie

I have used everything from the mug warmer to different pots in search of what works best for me and i must say i live and die by that target hot pot kettle. It took some time for me to gauge the heat so that it dint get soo hot that it destroyed my lather , but once i got it just right, it has served me very well. However my tap water gets pretty hot and im able to warm any scuttle i use and get perfectly hot lather, but more times then not if a lot of the other members in my family have used the hot water and/shower then i bring out the hot pot and bingo bango(no pun intended Bingo if u read this ) hot lather for days , everyone should get one that likes hot lather.

Oh and to solve the whole The_Pastor chocolate melter thingy dont know if he posted it but he did make a post on youtube where i first saw it.. Enjoy sounds like a great idea too

    Wink

This is great...thanks for sharing Matt. This will work too. I actually found that the hot pot idea works the same way, albeit with some minor variations/differences...I really enjoy the warm lather that comes out of using one of these kinds of products.

What a difference "consistent" heat makes!!

There's no doubt that a less expensive and more effective means of maintaining the ideal water temperature for lather exists, but what draws people to a scuttle is the ambience of using an attractive piece of artwork to shave the way people did many years ago.

    Nice hotpot!

Just can't bear to get one because my wife will kill me if I put it on the bathroom sink!

    Whhyyyyyy??

What happens if you do? Is space too small? The footprint on these things is tiny.

Hey....when my stuff on the counter starts to surpass her stuff...there could be issues

Besides, I need room for the new Moss Scuttle I have coming in. Now I have to figure out what to do with my Georgetown Pottery Scuttle!

Aahhhhh. I got it. I do understand and feel your pain now. You gotta pick your battles carefully.

Sounds like it's time for an upgrade to a place with a bigger bathroom (with his and hers sinks)?
