Tabac so far is my favorite cream. Seems not to dry out as fast and is slicker than others I have tried. I'm going to try glycerin over the next few days with Taylo'rs and Vintage Blade's creams and see if makes a diference for me.
I also tried Nivia Balm. Gave it about 15 minutes to soak in while I cleaned up my gear and did a post shave strop. Then spashed on Taylor's Bayrum. NICE! It was a fitting end to an enjoyable shave.
TOBS creams don't need it (but it gets ridiculously creamy if you use 3-5 drops in it) But when I'm whipping up some lather for my wife I add a few drops of glycerin, BP matter the soap/cream I'm using. It helps the lather stick around longer and it makes her legs silkier.
