I really like Karl Lagerfeld e/d/t because it is definitely a manly scent. Although I have not tried the a/s, I would assume it is a toned down version of the e/d/t.
I found this Product Description:
warm spices and tobacco blend with musk and amber, a very masculine scent.
Also, this is the best price I have seen: Amazon.com: Lagerfeld by Karl Lagerfeld fro Men 4.2 OZ Classic After Shave Unboxed: Health & Personal Care

This is turning out to be the post that wouldn't die so I thought I'd throw in my two cents...pun intended.
For the manliest scent my top choice would be Green Irish Tweed. VERY expensive so if on a budget CoolWater is almost as good and half the price. If you want to get a feel for this scent without spending a fortune Mama Bear has this fragrance in her shaving soap lineup...I think she calls it Dublin Tweed.
For attracting the ladies I'd go with Giorgio or Obsession...and if on a budget they can be had in the imitation varieties for under $10 bucks a jug at your local discount store or pharmacy.
Now having said that I normally use only Trumpers Sandalwood Skin Food. I couldn't find anything in writing that makes it a crime so I apply it twice daily. Once after shaving and again when I feel the fragrance is wearing off.

Thanked: 213Great one, I always keep that one on the shelf. S
Skin food is one of the only Trumper products I feel is worth the money and I use the coral which is the pink one I am sure some of the real men in this post would die before using that which is a shame its very good. OMG I just thought about DR Harris Aftershave milk comes in a Pink Labeled bottle and it is one of the best and one of are most popular items
