Barber shop scent
If you really want the full affect get yourself some Jeris hair tonic to use also. A hot shower, a BBS shave, Jeris and original Clubman. Gentlemen, it doesn't get much better.

I have to say ive read all the threads on this and have realy enjoyed them. im most surprised that im not alone in the clubman/pinaud AS bringing back fond memeries of the past. i have just recently started to shave with a straight razor and went to Right Aid where i live to get a bottle of AS and picked up the clubman/pinaud original. i had no sooner opened the bottle and instantly got a flashback to every haircut ive ever recieved on any Navy, Marine, or Airforce base ive ever been on. liked it so much...i went back and bought an extra bottle for traveling.

Thanked: 1Is there a way to tame the strength of the scent? Maybe mix it with witchhazel? I liked it the few times I used it but it was just overpowering.

You might try using less. Or mixing it with water or alcohol. Witch hazel has its own odor which I'm not sure would work together with the Clubman.

And to clarify, I also meant the original scent in my reply; I haven't tried the others. I love the original so much I get any Pinaud Clubman original-scent product I see: aftershave, hair gel (which, besides just liking the whole line, I find to work better than anything else I've used with such hair as I have left), even the talc and styptic pencil.
