Sorry gentlemen, but intentionally mispronouncing words for the sake of it is about as worldly (and classy) as pronouncing Edinburgh edin-burg as opposed to edin-burr-e. There is nothing stupid or presumptuous about pronouncing a word correctly
We've had the matter settled by two gentlemen who speak French; let's leave it at that.

As this is true we all do have to take into account that different dialects pronounce words differently. Northern France may pronounce some words differently from Southern France and same for French-Canadian.

After all is said....has anyone thought of contacting Pinaud and actually asking them how they pronounce the name ? Just sayin that's all....
