Mine is (drumroll, please).... BRUT!
Recently rediscovered this nice scent. Seems to have some of the same notes as Pinaud Clubman (and, I swear, there must be some mint in there somewhere). For me, Brut has more staying power than Clubman. (Especially Brut cologne, as opposed to a/s.)
Cheers!

Thanked: 369Tried a sampling of Tom Ford Private Blend Oud Wood on one arm, and Creed Royal English Leather on the other arm. Have been sniffing both arms throughout the day and not sure which I like better. Or whether I like either at all. Such a dilemma.
Actually leaning towards the Creed. But the Oud Wood is tugging at me as well...
May have to buy both.
P.S. - Contrary to online forum rumor (Basenotes, etc), according to the "Creed" specialist at Nordstrom's, Royal English Leather has not been discontinued.Last edited by honedright; 07-15-2012 at 02:49 AM.

I've got another not expensive scent for you with some real staying power, though it's not everyone's cup of tea; Jovan Sex Appeal. It has a strong initial blast of patchoulli and mellows down to a nice spicy scent. Great especially during the colder months.

Thanked: 6Regarding "staying power", do you mean objective scent duration, or your own subjective ability to smell it?
have you considered that it's very common to become aclimatized, so to speak, to the scent?
Think of entering a new house, you initially notice the distinct smell that any house has. But in 6 minutes after entering you don't notice it anymore, because the contrast is gone and therefore not as apparent. It's still there to anyone new who walks in however, and if you were to leave and come back, you'd notice it again.
I only mention this because it would suck to be "that guy" that just reaks of aftershave. Maybe you have enough for everyone else to notice, but the effect wears off for your own nose.
Maybe I'm the overly semi sensitive to too much pefume/cologne, but I've actually told people to leave my office because they smell like they went for a swim in a perfume pool.

Thanked: 15In my particular case:
D.R. Harris Sandalwood last the full day. Strong, oily and nice.
Alt Innsbruck real nice and its covers me the full day also, the menthol is nice.
Geo Trumpers Leather's scent: Nice and it leave me the skin very soft.
Sometimes Casswell M. Jockey Club, this is the softtest fragance poison I use.
Thanks

Thanked: 603+1 on CK Obsession for Men; it's long been a favorite of mine.
Ditto, for Geoffrey Beene Gray Flannel; I use this after shaving with any soap/cream that has a solid lavender component (QED Anise & Lavender is a great example), and it keeps the experience alive all day long.
Another one is MPG Route du Vetiver; not only is it long-lasting, but it flat "projects"!
Finally, there's Odori Tabacco; it is my favorite -- if I had to pick a "desert island" frag, it'd be this one.
I suspect there are others in my stash, but these came to mind quickly, which must mean something (if only to me).You can have everything, and still not have enough.
I'd give it all up, for just a little more.
