    Which of the firehouse do you use? I have used the regular for dark hair but was thinking about using the Wackey Tacky while it is in the summer months. Have you used both and if so is the Wacke Tackey very much stiffer?

    +1 good as gold.

    I have the wacky tacky, and its a dark enough shade that it doesn't give that white candlewax buildup look when you use a good amount of it. It does have a very stiff hold, so if that's what you're looking for, its a good choice. And it has a nice masculine pine smell, which I appreciate (incidentally so does stache bomb, so as an added bonus they don't clash!).

    RMarsh, Thanks for the heads up. I will try the wackey for sure, I need something in the summer with the heat that will hold. I assume it has a little more hold than the regular blend.

    I made some tonight with ylang ylang and sandalwood, smells amazing and works as well as anything I've bought in the past. Just used beeswax, petroleum jelly and lanolin and essential oil. Dead easy

    Best wax I've come across is Lockharts, it has blown everything else out of the water. Pliable, great hold and scent

    I have Stache Bomb, Lucky Tiger, and just picked up some clubman.
    stache bomb as mentioned has a nice and pleasant pine scent and a light hold
    Lucy Tiger - is some tacky stuff and really doesn't have much for scent, just guessing but it smells like waxes paraffin wax maybe and seems stiffer than the stache bomb
    Clubman - nice citrus scent and sets up stiffer then the other two IMO, but talk about looking like you have a bunch of boogers under your nose. don't know that I'm really going for the booger look....
    I made my own also, Bees wax, coconut oil both equal parts. Tried scenting it with E.O but the honey scent from the wax is just over whelming. In-fact I can't stand it, hold was less than the stache bomb too. A reformulation is needed.....

    My favourites are;

    Bounder, great hold, nice smell, no a great smell to be honest, and water soluble so easy to wash out, however I live in Quueensland Austrailia and work physically I sweat a lot. It still holds all day. Bounder extra-firm moustache wax :: Tested on Gentlemen, not animals to keep you stiff all night.

    Mr. Kings, a great wax light lemony scent, lasts well. Better in the winter for me. Home / Mr King's Wax

    The next favourite is not a wax but If you want serious hold with a product that won't budge you can try, Glued by Schwartzkoph. Rock solid curls or english ends that simply won't move. Got 2B Glued Spiking Glue 150 ml: none: Amazon.co.uk: Health & Personal Care

    The biggest tip I learned though was to shape my moustache with my fingers while using a hair dryer, then apply the wax or product to the ends. a blast of hot air will help spread wax through your mo. Then a blast of cold air and the wax sets.

    Im really interested in trying Lucky Tiger. I've tried several. Wacky tacky is too tacky for me and I was loosing mo hairs which will never do!
