    I have tried that recently; inexpensive, installs easily and, if you glob on enough, it holds well. Add a wipe of Clubman, Firehouse or homemade on top for a solid all day set.

    Now that explains a lot - - - - I thought they were guys.

    All joking a side, I get my seeds and parts and some feed from them and Southern States. All 3 places have something to offer this old Redneck.
    "Good Ol' Boys tip of the day" To clear up a case of dry cracked hands Southern States utter Balm is a quick fix.

    I find that for the perfect Moustach - (much grander than a mustache) I re-wet it after my shave. I use a fine tooth comb and a blow dryer to set the shape. By blow drying your Stache you will do more then any wax will do for you. Keep the dryer on low heat and use the comb as a shield to keep the warm air from drying out the end until you reach it with the comb.
    During this time I set my tin of wax on a light bulb on the night stand of the bed to warm up. start with the center of the stache and work toward the end. As soon as I have both sides done I gently comb out the first side I waxed. I use my right hand to do the right side and the left hand for the left side, this seems to keep the sides equal in shape

    Another option is to make your own.
    2.5 - 3 table spoons bees wax, depending on how stiff you want it!
    1 table spoon coconut oil.
    1 pinch gum of arabic about 1/2- 3/4 the size of a sweet pea.Sometime I will use pine rosin as well
    1 drop of essential oil for a smell you like.

    pre-slice and heat the bees wax in a small jar in a pan of boiling water.
    when melted add the the gum of arabic and blend.
    add coconut oil and essential oil.
    pour out into a tin
    let cool

    then simply warm and serve. I keep a tin in my pocket all the time for touch up in the afternoon when needed.
    hope this helps.

    Is the pine rosin a substitute for the gum of arabic, or an optional added ingredient? How much pine rosin do you use?

    This all seems a bit much, do you really save money by making your own? I have spent a total of about 15 dollars on different commercially available stuff and I get this result-
