    Looks like the scales are different than mine and many others.. Black resin material but yours has raised lettering, SOLINGEN.. and others have the laser etching. Wonder what's up with that..

    I don't know why the scales are different, what I do know is that this Ralf Aust razor is making a real easy learning curve for me. Right around 20 shaves now.
