Bad news just arrived; the MOP scales were badly cracked as Matt was tightening the hinge pin prior to shipping. The good news is the razor is still mine, I just have to pick another set of scales, with mammoth ivory or mammoth bark. It's not the same, but not much anyone can do about it. All aesthetics. I just think it is a very nice product. I do a lot of my razors in bone, the next best to mammoth ivory.
