Here's the one I picked up off of ebay, just came in todays mail. The discoloration on the reverse side of the blade appears to be adhesive, probably from a tag at a flea market or tag sale. As noted previously, it definitely needs new scales, but the blade shows very little staining or rust. I think I got a good deal..

My W & B
Doc asked me to post this here. This is a 6/8 restore I did recently. It made it into my rotation.

Very nice, Ken!

Can I get in with this old Reynolds I'm working on? The etching can't be seen, but it is a genuine Diamond Steel.Last edited by drfred; 04-08-2008 at 08:08 PM.

My first W&B. Got it from ebay. Aside from the staining and some light pitting (the darkest spots) the blade is in really good shape. I'm a little short of cash right now, so the restore will take a while, but I'm young...
ps. the really dark spots at the very heel of the edge are from the sharpie I was using to check the bevel...Last edited by the wanderer; 04-14-2008 at 12:43 AM.
