That's gorgeous...you managed to find one with the stamping on the spine...very, very nice....you'll love the shave off this blade. As Valery commented to me, he said it felt like honing solid glass on the stones...he joked, "that's why they call it a Diamond Edge I guess!"
Can't wait to see the pics when it's done...already looks in superb condition.

That etch looks nice and deep. Will you try to save the scales?
I'd be very interested in seeing in-progress pictures and detailed descriptions of your restoration process.
