    After meeting in Toronto with gentlemensden, we decided that this razor should go home with me. Big hunk of beautifully crafted Sheffield steel.

    Restored Vintage Straight Razor Wade & Butcher 9/8. Celebrated Barbers Use with Horn scales:

    My big boy (9/8)
    Freshly restored by imperator. Brand new scales. He did an amazing work there!! It still need some stropping but is already pretty impressive! :-)

    Those are gorgeous scales? I really like the overall shape of them, especially near the tang...what type of material are the scales?

    Just because its not common or doesn't look like like other similar models doesn't mean it didn't happen. Check out the pic of my silver combined with India steel pic below- I've never seen such a notch on any other W&B... But it was factory.., I also have multiple India steel sway backs.... All have completely different notches, all are original.

    Just because we've never seen it before dos t mean it didn't happen!
