Yup, "twins" except for the spike point on yours. As mentioned, at some point someone ground the spike to a gentle round. I started a little disappointed just because the tip wasn't original but after actually using it, I have ZERO complaints.
Used her this AM; good shave but I think I need to do a little touch up on a hone (pulled a tad on the neck and chin).
Even with thet, the nbr 18 has takem the nbr 1 spot for favorite shaver for now!

Thanked: 3I'd also love to know that. My razor is a 9. If they basically started at 1 and incremented each time a new model came out, then I have an early model - which would be exciting. If they number like Lexus or Mercedes does, then I have one of the lowest "ranked" razors they make - not as exciting. :P

Polished and ready for scales, never been honed, I think I will leave it that way and put it in the display case. I have some purple heart, bloodwood, walnut and oak scales curing right now.
