Nice post and great blades. If you rub some neat's foot oil on the scales of the top blade you may be able to enhance their appearance, but looks great as is.

Good tip...
Thanks for the info. I wasn't sure if there was anything could be done about those. I started trying to sand them with 600 grit but right away I could see that wasn't going to work. IYO, are they horn?

5/8 IXL
This is my beloved Wostenholm. 5/8 IXL, 1/2 hollow (I am guessing). The blade is heavy, the spine is 3/16'' thick. It has original ivory scales.
It is an excellent shaver. I could not believe how good it was when I shaved with it the first time. Sheffield blades rule and Wosteholm was the king of Sheffield!
