Thanks, Eric. Yeah, that Peerless must've been in someone's drawer somewhere and never got used. It still looks that nice after some use. Probably my nicest, especially since all the wash/etch is still intact.

Here are some of mine. First is my Celebrated IXL Frameback recently restored. Second is my ~6/8 wedge. Third is an IXL I did for a member here.

My contribution to the Pipe Shop. The first is an ebay junker. the second pic shows how much of the blade is gone. It taught me to pay closer attention when buying from ebay. The second is a 5/8 wedge, pretty decent shape, I think this will turn into a good shaver.

This is my first Wolstenholm, #1 in my rotation, and barely touched since I lucked into it on Ebay. The scaleless blade is a 1" Barber Use beauty awaiting scales and a little more attention.

Thanked: 28Did you notice that the Barbers' Use blade is marked not GEORGE Wostenholm but JOSEPH Wostenholm? It is made by another manufacturer (possibly German) trying to cash in on the Wostenholm reputation. This sort of "forgery" was a constant headache for the big Sheffield companies in the 19th century.
Now, of course, such oddities are an interesting piece of history.
Duncan.

No sir. The "Joseph Wolstenholm & Sons'' Marking had not registered with me. An other clue should have been the:

marking. Thanks for the heads up. Makes me smile.... the Ol' Boy that came up with it is still "getting over" 100 years later. Hopefully the quality of the blade isn't a scam as well.
