Hi Andrew!
The spine work seems to be an aftermarket mod, I have not seen this in NOS blades. Some of the EPBD's both Tridur and non Tridur have a checkered pattern etched on the spine, as seen here:
Also, ALL EPBD's came with the rubber grips, the ones you see on eBay without it just probably lost it over the years.Last edited by Cobre; 09-05-2015 at 04:03 PM.

rubbish picture on my phone, but having cut down a LOT on my razor numbers, I couldnt let this go when it was offered as a sale to me. It is a 14 DT JMP in NOS state. Lovely blade, very dodgy scales. Apparently dates from 1955 - the seller had two identical and one of them came with a dated certificate. Will give it a run over a finishing stone and strop it up when I have some time off next week.

Nice find.
Having a Fili in the stable is always a great feeling.

I'm happy to show off my Filarmonica here. I received it 2 weeks ago, and it's near NOS. it had some staines on the blade which were easily polished away. Never shaved with it because it needs honing. I just started honing, and I will hone this beauty when I'm a bit more experienced.

Thanked: 580Nice, the Filly factory edges are pretty good. Probably only needs a touch up, not a full bevel re-set.
