Here is an old Jaques LeCoultre I found on the 'Bay. (It should arrive this afternoon.)
Thanx,

Here are a couple of recent entries:
Thing 1 Lecoultre "Au Sentier"
Thing 2 Lecoulter "Au Sentier"
It's interesting how different from one another 2 razors with the same name and the same maker can be from one another.
Thing 1 has a heavier tang and only 2 lines in the name has a flatter contour to the edge. The scales are black plastic. It has a pretty small screw holding the blade in place.
Thing 2 has 2 finger places on the top of the tang which makes it thinner. The blade is more rounded with a 3 line name which includes "Switzerland". The scales are black ebony.

Another Jaques LeCoultre with 4 blades. Horn handle. Note the different screw, this model is coming without the screwdriver! Some pitting, but I desided to leave it as it is..

At some point of time this razor have seen a really unprofessional rescale and honing.. There is a sign on the blade, can you see it? Yea, me either.. When I see something like that, I want to kick that sucker who did this awful job..

I love the look of these classic framebacks. I haven't used one yet, but I have 2 or 3 on the way!
Not shave ready so they will have to be honed up first though.
