The Rodgers looks like tortoise for me.

    Both are precious.

If it says warranted then its probably late 1700's early 1800's

    I'm quite happy
Just to clarify, this is probably the best haul I have ever seen. All of those razors are in the area of late 1700's- 1800's. There is alot of personality with those razors and they have survived the times. How did you come across them?

    They fall into my arms..

I just missed a beautiful tortoise razor, so I needed to find something else to comfort me. I was looking on a not-that-known auction website, and I saw this picture of those seven razors all together in an auction / best offer page.

I guess you know how I feel next...

Also the first time for me I saw that much of that old razors all together.

That old, it's amazing how well its stood up considering it's age. I will have to be very careful repairing the scales, I would not want to be the one to break them after all this time.

You could probably take a pack of old guys from this forum that would not look as good as those razors. On a more serious note, just seeing those makes one have more respect for the historical depth of this slightly odd activity we are engaged in. Thanks for posting the pics.

Seeing all those together, figured I should post some 'art'.

Definitely art without the little ' on either side. I feel lucky to be able to see this kind of historical beauty.....these pics just toss you back in time and instill a sense of curiosity and awe. How many stories could each razor tell? Many thanks for posting the photos.
