    What a super looking pair, i couldn't leave that spot or mark just by the toe i would have to get it out, what size blades are they.

    They are both 13/16, that seems to be the standard size for Japanese razors.

    What is the make of the one with the plain scales and no staining to the blade?

    Hey Tuftey! Neil has honed mine and he has put a brillinat edge on them. The Henkotsu has shaved very nice, it's a different feel, for sure, for me it's like shaving with an ultra sharp wedge blade, but with more of a "bite" (and I "smell/feel" the scent of steel while shaving).
