Hey Tuftey! Neil has honed mine and he has put a brillinat edge on them. The Henkotsu has shaved very nice, it's a different feel, for sure, for me it's like shaving with an ultra sharp wedge blade, but with more of a "bite" (and I "smell/feel" the scent of steel while shaving).
