This is quite a bar you've set for this thread @Celticcrusader.

Congratulations on the acquisition, I hope it serves you in good health and what a start of the New year!

For me, it's something a lot more modest, but a blade I will enjoy very much, I am sure. Can't wait to hit the hones and give it a test shave. It's a NOS Tosuke Kinmoji and as I patiently wait for it to arrive, here's a picture:

As the time passes, so we learn.

Srdjan, I have the same Inoue Tosuke and can tell you they are great shavers, and I love the wavy forge line.
    Congratulations.

Brought this Tanifuji for my Christmas present, I cant say what a fantastic shaver it is and the craftsmanship is impeccable.

I waited a while until it arrived and it was really a job to hone it but here it is, my new Feather FB with Steel Scales, in my Eyes a real historic Beauty, i wonder what this Razor has seen in its life :-)
The Pouch is made by myself, i used some material from an old military pant i had and i think its fits the Razor good, the Kanji and Hiragana should mean "Property of Helge".

I have a few of these super hard framebacks by different manufacturers. They can be a bear to hone but pay the effort back for many seasons!
    Good choice on the pouch!
    Enjoy your shaves!

Well after many years of searching for a NOS western style Iwasaki my search is finally over I never dreamed that one day would come, I've been nervously waiting for more than 3 weeks for the razor to arrive from Japan, the description and the photo's of the razor left me with a small amount of doubt but I went with my gut feeling and when she arrived I was overjoyed that box had been doing an amazing job for many decades, well nothing left only the photo's and spec, 7/8 yes I couldn't believe it 7/8 half hollow.

That is a gorgeous razor. I'm sure it was worth the wait.
