The Frederick's from post #2 with new Desert Ironwood scales. The others cracked at the front pivot pin and Bill was kind enough to replace them for the cost of the scales only.

My three extremely scarce John Williams Damascus Sheffield razors in 6/8 round point (black scales), 6/8 square point (black scales)and 11/16 square point (yellow scales) manufactured 1900-1920s. You can find some treasures on eBay, these were around $15 each including shipping......very fine shavers.

Im gonna reserch it a bit and update but I did see some artical online about inportant names in the early Sheffield steel manufacturing and Joseph Smith is one of them also cast steel would seem very old as a term even though at it's time it may have been cutting edge so to speak
