I am here because I like Sheffield straights. I have two nice smiling wedge. They are just great shavers.

This one I have honed from start to shave ready.

This come shave ready, I have only stoped it.

Here is a odd maker, Ebner Farker, 3709, Sheffield.
Seems to be a full wedge with horn scales. Same shape and all for a Wade & Butcher I have, will be working them up together just for kicks, see how different they may be.

I love my Sheffield.....it is one of the best shavers that I have. It is my "go to" sr. James Barber. Not really for sure bout the year, sometime in the 1800's, most likely the late 1800's. Dont have any pics of it. Did have, but our other computer went belly up, and lost a few pics. Beautiful razor tho....

Jonathan Hunt Patent Sheffield 1829-1837 according to Lummus. Beautiful Brown Horn, Lead Wedge, Blade in fine condition. I like these old Long blades...
