Changed the all-metal razor (that was previously in) for a Thinet, the enterprise that bought Vitry Frères in the late 1800.

Thanked: 4826
I recently acquired this set. They are all in remarkable condition, ivory scales and original finish. None of them show any signs of use. I now nothing about the manufacture except for the obvious made in Sheffield. No England stamp so they likely predate 1890. They are very nice. My wife is a little annoyed as I had promised to reduce my numbers. I think it is very clear that I need to sell something else as these appear to be a fairly remarkable find. It's not what you know, it's who you take fishing!
