Nope, there is plenty of other tools under the blotting paper, but I actually never use wax on my letters (perhaps one day I'll do )

George Wostenhom and Sons Celebrated IXL.

I picked these up right off the SRP Classifieds, not sure why you guys didn't beat me to them....

But thanks for leaving them for me ;-)

    Cheers,
    Rob

They are a fantastic set. I have had the pictures from a classifieds ad for a long time. I look at the pictures from time to time. I am glad they are in Canada now, one step closer to my house. I am envious.

The Classifieds at SRP...today? Lord Thunderin' Almighty...I've either been in another dimension or I'm blind...never even saw those, you're right, I wouldn't grabbed them in a second - beautiful set, congratulations!

IIRC they cost a decent amount, in my view worth it but aesthetically they have much more embellishments than I like so they're just not quite my taste to be justifiable for me.

Enjoy them in good health, it's almost impossible to find razors with this quality in this condition with that much history. You could get TI to make you a 7-day hollow ground set in ivory but it's going to be comparable in price if not more and will probably not have the history, exclusivity or the level of detail and workmanship of this one.
