Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

When I showed the Livi site to my wife she thought them verrrry beautiful.
Then she said "very nice, but, you're not really going to spend that much money on a razor, do you ?? DO YOU ???????????".
It'll be a while before I join the club guys ....

Default My "Late" entry to the club...

The story of how this one came home is a good one too...
This is an older originally 7/8 Rose pattern Livi that originally had warped Cocobolo scales on it... The second owner bought it with much needed edge work to be done... The blade came out to me and I evened up the bevel and sharpened it out... The test shave was one of the best I have ever had, BUT the owner just couldn't get it to shave, so I had him send it back re-checked the blade and again had a great shave, but I tweaked it up any way and sent it home..
I had told him that if he ever wanted to sell the razor to please let me know, as it was one of the easiest most comfortable shaves I had ever enjoyed... About a year later the PM came, asking if I was still interested and I bought her...
I took off the old scales and replaced them with White Pearl Acrylics and have loved the razor ever since...pictured here with Valobra Almond shave soap for the Italian connection

Very nice, Glen. You're really adding some great razors to the stable.
