Congrats, John. I have the same razor, but in 7/8 square point which I prefer. I like the simple design and plain olivewood, as they do not take attention away from the main attraction which is the takeda damascus blade. It cost me, used, the equivalent of 14 plain jane razors which I sold here awhile back to pay for it, but yes, it is one special razor.

Here is my Mastro Livi.
It is a big one.
17/16, Wood scales, RWL-34 ATS with a French point.
It shaves like a champ, very high on my list of favorites.
I am a happy camper indeed right now

Sorry, I didn't think about shooting a picture of that
Too eager to share it with you guys..
The spine work is simple, but quite elegant. Small x'es along the entire ridge.
They are placed a bit apart on the tip of the blade, then gets closer and closer together towards the tang.

Here's my Mastro Livi "New Grind." I got it last month as a birthday present. Only one shave with it so far. The shave was out of this world.
