I watched the making of that very bowl, lid and brush. Just beautiful and classy! Olive wood, in my opinion one of the most beautiful woods around! I love the pattern very much!

That's very cool I'm extremely jealous! I'm going to save for a trip to Italy and hopefully get a couple razors from Mastro Livi. Maybe late next year if not defiantly 2017. I've always wanted to visit the country my family came from! Thank you for the video series they are great.

I love my large Mastro Livi loom strop! I don't have a collarbone in my left shoulder due to a motorcycle accident many years ago (1989) & I can use a conventional strop but I noticed I tend to slack up on it because I'm right handed so I strop with my right while holding one taut with my left.
Getting caught up here. I've had so many things going on........

I believe such a device is very convenient. There is certainly a drawback - you can not take such a device on a business trip.

Default My Mastro Livi Olive Wood Soap Bowl and Shaving Brush

I am very happy to show you my Mastro Livi soap bowl and shaving brush, both made from beautiful olive wood. Mastro Livi made this awesome set for me by using genuine Umbrian olive wood and created with the lathe.
The bowl has a lovely lid with a brush holder perfectly suited for my new brush.
The bowl has been filled with an artisan Italian shaving soap having a charming and intense almond fragrance, very classic and Italian style.
I watched the making of both and of course I took pictures of Mastro Livi at work while he was creating this unique masterpiece. I will be happy to share the pictures very soon with you.

Default Mastro Livi Symmetric Kamisori, Odin's Eye Damasteel

Yesterday I went to Mastro Livi laboratory because we had to shoot the sixth episode of Mastro Livi School whose subject is kamisori. For this episode we needed some kamisoris to be showed in the video in order to explain this style of razor. One of the kamisoris was a beautiful Mastro Livi symmetric kamisori, that is a kamisori with a blade ground in the western style, therefore having no ura and no omote.
I loved this kamisori from the very moment I saw it and, you guess it, when we were done shooting the video, I ended up taking this beauty home with me. I am therefore very glad to show you my latest addition to my razor collection, that is a Mastro Livi Symmetric Kamisori with a beautiful abalone handle.

Wow, that's indeed a stunner Antonello. You're one lucky guy living in Perugia and able to pop in and see Mastro Livi.

Thank you Jody, I am glad you like my latest Mastro Livi addition. This actually was the only Mastro Livi kamisori style missing in my collection, so I had to do it! :-)
Mastro Livi and I are of course waiting for you to come back to Perugia and enjoy some fine time together. I am sure you will love Mastro Livi's barbershop!
