    Jazor,

Thanks for sharing those photos of the Ongo 14. That's interesting that you once owned one. Any recollection of what led you to sell it?

well I actually got it from e-bay in a 4 pack lot, this razor, a Bartmann #89 (which is sweet awesome shaver), Fromm Redhead 50, and an Eicker Biedermaster # 55 I believe. the best purchase I have ever made on e-bay. this Guillermo shaves like a dream also. I shave my head also and this and the Bartmann plow through.... the Bartmann is just barley below 8/8 missed by a 32nd.
The reason I first was interested in the Guillermo was after reading this thread about 14's, I had to have one, I have that disese everyone talke about on here (RAD) I have been straight shaving since January this year and already have 34 razors I wish I would have started years ago..
    Jazor and lindyhop66 like this.

Hi Jazor, I am looking at a Guillermo Hoppe #14 with the twins logo, it does not say Henckel on it? Can you tell me anything is this prior to merging/going to Henckel?

I came across an unusual #14 on an Spanish Ebay auction that I was bidding on but lost (it was bundled with a Fili 14 Novodur).

It is a "La Magica" brand that says that it was made in Solingen.

Has anyone ever heard of this brand?

That is one sweet blade PFunkDaddy...only problem with them IMO, is that they shave so smooth and close, you don't need to shave for day's afterwards! Very nice!

    Nice find.
The JMP was a limited signature razor from Filarmonica. I have only seen this model from the early part of their production history (before 1950s approx), after which the Medallion series was introduced which also has the JMP etching.

I have never seen a razor like that ERN Crown and Sword with the Filarmonica etching.
That is a real eye opener.

Thought I would add to the feeding frenzy here with some fresh burly from Sweden.
I hope the owner of this razor is a member and can post some nice pics of it.
    Wish it was mine.......

Thanks all for posting those beautiful # 14 razor pics! It seems like a true avalanche suddenly with some nice brands I haven't hear of before.

Here some replies I owe some of you.

@ Bordee: the ONGO I sold because at that time I had to purge after a period of RAD. Nothing personal against the ONGO so to say and I understood of the new owner it is a top shaver. There are so many nice razors and I only have one face so to say...

@ mlvallance: yes, we all know RAD in some form or another. You did an amazing scoop if you got those two top brands in one lot! Congrats!

    @ PFunkDaddy: nice one!

@ mlvallance: regarding the Hoppe the story goes this gentleman worked for Zwilling and later went "solo" in Argentine or so. Earlier in this topic you can probably find some more detailed info shared by others. The picture you posted looks awesome and if the price is right, I'd snipe it if I were you!

@ Bordee: excellent, another name of # 14 I've not heard of before. On top of it, you've got the original scales with metal inlay! Very nice you also have the original box with it. Who can share some knowledge on this brand so we all can learn?

@bonitomio: first time ever I hear of a Jernbolaget No.14. What can you share about it with us? Very nice razor, congrats!

Keep the # 14 pics coming!

    Kindest regards, Jazor.
