Thanked: 3226If this is the thread you are referring to http://straightrazorpalace.com/razor...-solingen.html , it is 4 years old and 4 years ago you could likely have bought the Razolution razor for $65. The price of straights have increased a lot over the last 4 years. It is likely the same razor as you are retailing today at $139.99 plus tax.

welcome to srp i have no input on the razors but im curious as to how you came about deciding to join a straight razor forum as one with "no need?" (lazer hair removal and razor forums????) did the company you work for ask you to join and shed a positive light on the product? and please do be assured that there are female members here on srp, even a "ladies corner."

Congrats on the laser hair removal.
So, you do not shave.
How about honing?
As stated above, that particular thread is four years old.
The current price for those razor shaped objects was around there at that time, apparently.
Your google-fu needs some honing too I'm afraid.
The net is scattered with the same sad story that you found in that one thread you managed to search out..
So in short you are selling the proverbial turd from the looks of it all polished up to shine.
This will probably mean nothing to you, but please, stop that.
Do some research, learn about proper straights including their maintenance and honing.
At this site we seek to promote the art of straight razor shaving.
Products like the Razolution/Timor/GD crap makes so many drop out of it without knowing how a proper straight feels like.
I find that very sad.Bjoernar
Um, all of them, any of them that have been in front of me over all these years....

Thanked: 1184Welcome to SRP Your customer may not be an experienced straight user ? Some fellows use Gold Dollars in here , most for practice honing and the correcting of bad geometry. We also talk about razors costing several thousands of dollars. Doesn't mean they are worth it. It may be hard to swallow the fact that your selling something that is less than desirable for the average experienced user to even consider. When I first started using a straight I bought 1 on the list. I now use it to open all my e-Bay packages where I find razors that sometimes need a lot of work. When the work is done I have a razor that works like it should for a very long time. I would not gamble on yours for all the reasons mentioned, at any price. I am curious as to how you wound up here ? We are fair and would consider any proof you have that the list is wrong but at this time I highly doubt it.
Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.

Well, it takes a lot more than a person selling a product showing up to only tell us that we are wrong and that product is in fact high quality to change the already established facts.
And then your testimony seems to be not first hand but rather based on a single customer of yours.
For example post #3 makes the exact opposite statement of yours, but based on first hand experience and without conflict of interest.
If the razors are good sooner or later we'll hear about it from our highly experienced members who can make a fair comparison to all the alternatives. You could always send some samples around or have the manufacturer do so, but it still not going to take the brand off the list until the razors are proven to be consistently good (not just few samples given away, but reports from real purchases from real paying customers).

Thanked: 3Having honed them, it's not blueing, it's a crappy paint that can peel off with your fingernail.

Was thinking about what Birnando wrote, and I couldn't agree more, how many times have we seen a new member join the forum, proudly post their new razor, only to discover it's a piece of junk? They've wasted their money and ended up feeling foolish, even though they shouldn't. Or tried shaving with something like this, have pitiful results and given up with the view that's it's a waste of time without even understanding why they had terrible results?
In my opinion, that's the truly sad thing about this, and to have someone who doesn't shave, doesn't hone razor's, essentially knows nothing about them, come on to a forum like this to "tell" experienced users that they're all "wrong" just makes you wonder what's driving this.
I think the OP needs to have a good, long look at their motives for posting here, and I'm pretty sure getting others successfully involved in this hobby is not the motive - it's sounds like to me it's more about greed.
Again I agree with Birnando, I too find this very sad.
