Found some more. I'm now pretty sure it's not the French "Le Jaguar" but simply "Jaguar"

They also seem to make shavette type razors these days.

Jaguar seems to be part of the Zwilling group. The logo is the same on my razor, even though it misses the text and font type of "Jaguar" on the newer logo, it is NOS, also the blade says Solingen, Germany, which might be odd for a French razor. The up and inwards curl of the tail and jumping silhouette are the same and typical:

So i might not have a Le Jaguar, but the Zwilling brand is known for quality and is assuring.

In 1932, Kurt Schmidt founded a steel articles factory in Solingen, a city which is famous for the manufacturing of cutlery. Jaguar was first introduced as a brand name for hairdressing shears in the late sixties, and a short time later it also became the company name. This name reflected specialization in producing hairdressing shears and marked the starting point for Jaguar to become one of the leading manufacturers in the world. The Solingen-based company Zwilling J.A. Henckels, recognized worldwide, has been a strong partner since 1988.
