Thanked: 433I would vote no as well, I would buy several TI's and then scour the countryside (or world) for more interesting razors
Here's what 4 near NOS and 1 almost 200 year razors look like for under $100 (probably about $80) outlay and found at Antique stores or Ebay.

I would vote no...that's a lot of money. By all means buy a Legend razor, I think they look very tasteful, but save the rest for when a mint Greaves catches your eye, or a custom from one of the fine razor makers of today.

It's the same when you are stupid.

I would never buy a set. I would rather spend that kind of money on a variety of razors that had different scales and sizes or I would maybe buy a couple of custom class razors. To me sets are boring.

12 is an odd number, i wouldn't buy it even if I had 3k to spend, i would probably get a few really nice vintage razors and spend the rest on other stuff.

I've had a few 7 day sets. Some really nice ones but sold all but one. I'm keeping this set which was pristine when I bought it, because it is by a favorite maker. I honed all of them with different setups and they are all pre-WWII silver steel. The scales are identical, as are the blades, with the exception of the etching on the belly. Ordinarily I would find the sameness boring, but as I say, the maker is one of my favorites, and an obscure one at that. I could have had two sets like this for a bit less than a third of the TI set. FWIW.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Could even have a nice 7 day set custom made by Bruno, or Charlie,Or Robert, or Bob .or. Oh you get my point, nice set but really nothing special or one of a kind. , maybe even a Livi or three. Tc

Those 12 TI razors are very nice, but aren't worth the money (IMO).
And honestly, if I would buy that...my gf would kill me. Not kidding.
