I have between 40 and 50 and 2 tosuke kamisori. Don't know the exact number a I buy cheaper and fix em up and when finished buying last time(April) had about 12-13 sitting waiting for attention and only 2 left now. Keep buying 1 of every good brand and certain various styles. Have just finished a bout of sad(kanayama 80000) and had( another 4) dropping about a g so probably back to the razors for a bit as I normally get them for about 20-40 a pop. Probably got room for another 15 -20 in my case so will at lest go till then. Unfortunately have another 2 cases in the shed. Keep saying I will buy them clean them and sell them for a profit. Only sold 1 and that was 1 I had 2 of.

After two years in the sport, my set is almost "complete", I'm only missing a custom or two that I will commission if I ever have the money and the wife's permission...

A few in rotation, a few in displays, a few to be worked upon. a few £s worth. Rocks the same.

Does she feel you are taking away funds that could go for shoes, etc?

I started out collecting, then decided to downsize to two and primarily use just one. A Dovo 55 that an SRP member sold me when I first joined SRP. I think we all go in cycles as I keep looking to buy another interesting straight razor.

Okay, I know this is an old thread but I'm going to resurrect it. I was looking for a place to put this and this was the closest thing I could find even though it's old. I didn't read every post but damn! Some of you people have a problem.
Seriously though, I just passed the century mark. I now officially have 100 or more depending on how you count it. Even if you don't count the RSO's and the ones that are in pieces it's still just over 100. After reading just the first page of posts I'm rethinking committing myself to rehab because I don't have it anywhere near as bad as some of you people have...at least that's what I'll keep telling myself. I know I'm a sick man but there are just so many! I feel like the crazy cat lady. "There's just so many that need homes. What was I supposed to do, leave them on the street?"

Looks like Ive never posted in this thread so... 130 to 150 straights. The 130 mark is shave ready. The rest are in the to-do drawer or needs honed cup. Only a few SE and DE. 1 shavette and 2 kamisori. I think that it.
