    Smile SE Razor Blades for Gem and EverReady

    I have a Gem Micromatic but with no blades.
    I won an Ever-Ready SR also without blades.
    I am a straight razor shaver but would like to experience these two SE razors.

    So my question is twofold;

    First,... do these two razors take the same SE blades?

    And secondly where might I be able to buy them?
    Thanks in advance,
    Ralph

    These will work dandy in the Gem. I am uncertain about the Ever Ready.

    My local grocery store carries the Gem SE blades.

    Yes those blades will work in both razors. Those blades are virtually impossible to find in Canada in brick and mortar retail stores but common to find south of the border. Surprised to see Fendrihan now carries them.

    Damn! $5 for the blades and $10 shipping just doesn't sit right with me.

    I am kind of surprised they are not more readily available in Canada.

    Good excuse to load up with enough goodies to get the free shipping. Those are dandy shavers when you do get the blades. IIRC those blades are uncoated carbon steel and you really should take the blades out of the razor after use and dry both the razor and blades or the blades rust like the devil.
