Thanked: 28What makes it worth $300? The aunt "Mary" story behind it or the fact that it is a auction piece. I find at auctions items will sell more than what there worth out of greed from the people bidding on it. They might not want it or know nothing about it. The problem is they have to have it for some driven reason.

Lots of old Greavses are very 'long' razors, so size is disproportionate to what most are used to seeing.
