Inspect those Pumas carefully as top one appears to have a tear on the edge just left center. That is always the concern when buying vintage razors before you have the opportunity to inspect them in person. But I give a plus one on vintage Pumas as well. Good luck with your choice.

No experience with revisor, but Puma do make a good razor. The 95 looks nice.

New glasses and a bigger monitor

The #91 has some serious rust issue, especially on the spine at the toe end.

As for purchase preference: for resale purposes, I would say Puma. But I am not one for hype, and I really like Revisors. Personally I would prefer a nice, new razor from a small, dedicated manufacturer (i.e. Revisor) over a vintage razor produced on a massive scale (i.e. Puma). Because there are a lot of Pumas.

Don't get me wrong, I love vintage Solingen razors. However, as far as they go I find razors from major manufacturers such as Böker, Ern, Henckels, Puma and Dovo considerably less interesting than say Hermann Mehl, Klihaso, Mabenso or Daniel Peres razors. Or indeed Revisor, vintage or new production. What I love about the new production razors from the smaller outfits, like Revisor, Ralf Aust, Wacker is that they are tangible embodiments and a continuation of the historical trade of razor production.

I've had pumas, but not a revisor. I don't think the premium charged for puma is worth it, at least not in my opinion. A lot of the "it" razors that are out aren't ground any better than other razors of the era that are done by any known maker.

The best finished razor I ever saw was a tanifuji, which isn't saying much - that's well known. But tons of razors that were branded from known solingen makers are every bit as good as a puma, and they're out there in NOS trim for $150-$250 in 6/8 razors, often with original hang tags. I've seen NOS pumas lately for twice that, and there is no magic that makes them worth twice that other than a recent run up.

For what it's worth, in my brief experience with using straight razors I'd have to agree with that. There will never be a last razor till the gophers are delivering the mail imo.
