Thanked: 3226Chasing the Holy Grail razor/brush/soap is fun but in the end not really worth the effort for me if a good shave was the primary objective. There are plenty of mundane less costly products that will do the job nicely. Just a little jaded I guess.

Absolutely. I truly wish people would stop talking about Holy Grail razors. Prime example being the mass produced Filarmonicas. I challenge any whatever the name of the hyped Filarmonica du jour is to beat this (thank you, Tim): http://straightrazorpalace.com/srpwi...Special%22_8/8

Thanked: 60I have shaved with a Chronik. No Mythos there. Decent Solingen razor but you can find better. I think that was another one of those razors that got its flames fanned by constant fanboy buzz

Thanked: 96I have a 6/8 vintage revisor and 5 Puma's. A friend gave me a 6/8 89 to try and I liked it so much I bought it at a great price. Puma's are like cashews, once you have one you just can't stop. Love them puma's.
