Lets see some pics. I'd have a hard time not using them.

[QUOTE=JSmith1983;1658426]To me I would probably use since I'm not a collector. Also IMHO you could probably never prove it was unused unless it was still sealed in the original packaging. A razor that was truly shave ready from the factory and well taken care of could probably be used a lifetime with occasional touch ups and not really be able to tell the difference from when it was first bought.[very good point these razor are very nice, but they were not sealed/QUOTE]

I think that I read somewhere that if you live a good life here on earth, you will receive 72 new, unused straight razors in heaven.

Hi, this is one of my first posts (if not my very first one) Hello to everybody.
I was lucky enough to get a sealed, never-used W&B. I didnīt think twice. I opened the box and shaved directly out of the box. And i can say, that it was a unique experience, knowing that somebody created and honed this razor someday and now, maybe 130 Years later, someone else shaves with it and this someone was me. Has the razor lost in value? For sure. Do i regret it? Of course not. a little bit of hedonism isnīt that bad ;-). My advice is: open the box as fast as possible and shave with it.

Very nice and fairly rare but I would have done the same.

Never was a true collector of anything so I use everything that I have gathered, as opposed to collected, be it guns, cameras or razors. Never worried about resale value either. If I sold them for less than I bought them for, which was most of the time, I just considered I had paid a small rental fee. Just depends on what an individual wants to do.

Thanks for sharing your razor, Elias. I can't recall ever seeing a NOS W & B, with paperwork even, before.
