You will see razors labelled stainless steel, (Acier)Inox and Rostfrei. That is English, French and German for the same thing.

I'd never heard of the Acier or the Rostrei but I was familiar with Inox. With that said, I would never have guessed that it was French.

I decided to play a bit and gave Google Translate a little 'test'. I clicked on 'Detect Language' pasted Inox and here's what popped up:

Well I guess the French were in Viet Nam for quite awhile!

I guess Inox is the short version of Acier (Steel) and Inoxydable (Stainless). Goofed on the spelling of Rostfrei In my previous post too. Literally Rust Free/Stainless.

I believe acier is 'steel' in French.

If wonky bevels tweak your OCD then don’t buy a TI. They are great razors and take a great edge but the majority of the time you will get hone wear and a wonky bevel on a Ti. I love them but YMMV

I may rethink the TI razor, my OCD wants a pretty perfect razor and you would think what they charge for them they would try to work those issues out but then again they are hand made.

While it's not of TI razors here's a link to how DOVO makes razors today and YES there is an awful lot of hand work.

It's in German but you don't need to understand the language as it's pretty much self explanatory.
