My most rare razor? The one I don't have because it's so rare!

Digging around...I particularly find scarce American razors interesting.
As was this one....Hassam Bros of Boston. https://straightrazorpalace.com/razo...rs-boston.html (Neil Miller!)

Here's a few, B. Richardson & Son, Philadelphia, and a Gravely & Wreaks. They were importers in NYC who were only in business a few years in the 1830s and dealt especially in Bowie knives from Sheffield. This razor is stamped with their name but was likely made in Sheffield as well. It's etched "Patend Double Concave / Conarels Razor".

This one. Not sure how old or rare, but I like the shave. Only markings are Superior Temper.

I have one of those too, picked it up for super cheap on eBay. The scales are badly warped and need replacing, but the blade is in great condition.

I’ve also got one from the Hassam Brothers and at some point I was going to do a writeup about them. At the moment, I can’t remember what I had to say, but I know I’d done research (I know you’re all shocked)... I guess I’ll do it again at some point.

Yes, I was amazed at what Neil could find. I really liked the part about the grandfather watching the battle of Bunker Hill from a church steeple!

I’m consciously trying to fill some of that void, but it feels like trying to flood the Grand Canyon with an eyedropper.

HAR! Big boots alright. I appreciate your contributions, Zak.

On with the American Jag...Watervilles are relatively common.
I think a few exceptions are in my possession.
