Not sure this is correct though.

    Al raz.
Well, Peter's name is on my c-mon caddy, (the new one) and the casing is definately the exact same casing that comes on a dovo.

I like my C-MON Blackie very much. It is a smooth and comfortable shaver. An old barber I talked to recently thought they were the best he had used, when he still did straight razor shaves. Here it is...

Both of my C-MONs are great shavers. The "Special" on the left and the "Blackie" on the right.

Default Need help dating this C-Mon

I just received this razor and would appreciate some help dating it and perhaps getting a little background on it.

I followed the "C-Mon" threads and noted that none of the razors have the markings on the tang that this one has i.e. "Temperite" or "made in USA by Case". I also noted that mine has only two pins where as all the others have three(at least the ones that have the same inlays).

HEY!! I was bidding on that one on ebay! LOL!! Its not a c-mon. The scales are but the blade is a case. Case make very good razors. The scales are in great shape.

That is a Case Temperite that was rescaled into Cmon Scales. She's a cousin to the Red Imps.

    Wow, that was fast! ;-)

    Thanks holli4pirating and nicknbleeding.

So let me understand, did some individual take a Case razor and pin it to a C-mon scale or was it done "by" Case or C-Com?
