The roughness of the pivot pin compared to the wedge pin is a giveaway that, as Nick said, it's not original. But also, I don't know of any affiliation between Case and Cmon.

I would rate them in the top 10 brands of razors out there in the vintage market place....

None the less, can anyone take a guess as to how old the razor and/or scales are?

There was a gun show down here several months ago and one of the knife dealers had a huge lot of SR's. He had several CMON razors. All of his razors were $25 to $30 each. When the show came back around last month he wasn't there. Every SR there this time was a novelty.

Thanks but I hope not, I'm still looking for more to make a seven day set! They don't show up as often as Fillies or Ducks so you need to be patient and persistent. Lots of sleepers out there that are just as good also.

I have always wondered how that is pronounced. Is it "See-Mon" or is it like the invitation, "C'mon!" as in "Come on!"

    Can't shave with something I can't pronounce!

I believe it is see-mon, which I believe is a contraction of Carl Monkhouse.

Just honed up a C-Mon Blackie yesterday for a member and shaved with it this morning. WOW! What a smoothie!

They sure are. Don't know if you all know this but it has been reported through Thomas of Revisor that C-Mons and Dubl Ducks were made by Dovo. I think JimmyHad asked Thomas to pass this question to his senior staff and pass the answer back to Jimmy.
